SAS SEALTRON® 1000 Conductive Adhesive Sealants are a room temperature curing elastomer loaded with conductive particles. They are supplied as thick paste that cures when exposed to the atmosphere.

When using these Thixotropic pastes it is important that any substrates are dry, free of oil, and clean. Typical cleaning solvents can be used such as acetone or isopropyl alcohol to prepare the surface. It is also preferable to let the adhesives cure under pressure.

The 4th digit should be replaced with the appropriate series number found in the box to the right.

The 5th – 8th digit are replaced using the appropriate sizing found in the table just below:

SAFETY AND HANDLING INFORMATION

WARNING: Contact with adhesives is irritating to skin and eyes. If contact is made with the skin, the excess should be wiped off with a dry cloth or paper towel followed by a waterless hand cleaner such as the type used to clean grease or oil from the skin. For specific information regarding safety and handling of this product refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet.

CLEAN UP

Uncured adhesives may be removed from a surface with xylene or acetone.

STORAGE INFORMATION: Shelf life of adhesive are one (1) year from the date of shipment provided the products are stored in the dry, tightly sealed, original container below 23˚C (73.4˚F).
